Your journey begins in Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Overlooking the old bazaar stands the 17th-century Leh Palace, inspired by Tibet’s Potala Palace. In Leh, you can explore monasteries like Spituk Monastery and witness the beautiful confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers.
Crossing Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world, you reach Nubra Valley, a cold desert valley of sand dunes and stark mountains. Here stands Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra.
A special highlight of this journey is Turtuk, one of the northernmost villages of India, located in the Baltistan region and known for its unique Balti culture and apricot orchards. The tour also includes the mesmerizing Pangong Lake, famous for its changing shades of blue and featured in the Bollywood movie 3 Idiots.

Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. The day is reserved for acclimatization to the high altitude. Rest well, stay hydrated, and avoid strenuous activities. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast, visit the confluence at Sangam Point where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. Seek blessings at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and experience the unique phenomenon at Magnetic Hill. Explore Hall of Fame and visit Shanti Stupa for panoramic sunset views. Evening free for market exploration. Overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass. Enjoy spectacular mountain views en route. Upon arrival, explore the Hunder sand dunes and opt for a double-humped Bactrian camel ride or ATV ride (personal expense). Check into your camp or hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra.
