Overview

Imagine waking up to the sound of flowing rivers, driving across dramatic mountain passes, watching crystal-clear lakes reflect endless blue skies, and riding through some of the highest motorable roads in the world — this is Ladakh in its rawest form.

Your epic 11-day journey begins in Srinagar, where the serene waters of Dal Lake and the elegant Shalimar Baghintroduce you to Kashmir’s timeless beauty. From there, the adventure accelerates as you cross the mighty Zoji La en route to Kargil.

As you enter Ladakh, you’ll witness the magnetic illusions of Magnetic Hill, seek blessings at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and stand at the powerful confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers at Indus-Zanskar Confluence.

The thrill continues as you conquer Khardung La and descend into the surreal Nubra Valley, explore the sand dunes of Hunder, and experience Balti culture in Turtuk. Later, drive alongside the Shyok River to the legendary Pangong Lake, before heading to Hanle and scaling the world’s highest motorable pass — Umling La at 19,024 ft.

Your adventure concludes with the tranquil beauty of Tso Moriri and the geothermal wonders of Puga Valley — a fitting finale to one of the most thrilling Himalayan road trips ever designed.
